David Brown has several years of experience navigating and creating cannabis regulations in
Canada, most recently as a Senior Policy Advisor with Health Canada’s Cannabis Branch, where
he supported both the federal government’s regulatory team and the external relations team.
David now serves as Director of StratCann Services Inc. overseeing media content covering
the cannabis industry, including the evolution of BC’s own distribution and retail model and
various provincial approaches to zoning retail, production, and consumption. David continues
to advise government bodies, commercial licence holders, and applicants on cannabis policy.
